The Study Support Scheme is an After-School Life-long Learning Project. The Scheme is now in its third year and aims to continue providing support to pupils, students, parents and adult learners.

Parents are encouraged to attend with their children. This provides the opportunity for them to develop a better understanding of how their children learn, what they must learn, and the importance of home study so that they are empowered to provide support to their children in the home!

The scheme supports children from 5 to 15 years of age.
Mrs. rhooms teaches the primary school support group.
Our sessions are during school term time:

Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Learning support is provided by qualified teachers and a committed team of volunteers and parents!

Childrens parents are requested to bring along the child's latest school report to enable the staff to find appropriate work for the child. Pupils who are underachieving in English and Maths are given extra support.

"I am pleased to be a volunteer, with the study support group and I wish that it may continue providing help and guidance to the youths."
Sonia, Volunteer.

"The good thing about Study support is that, the children that have attended have all positively improved. Also the children have made friendships they maybe wouldn't have made otherwise. Which makes them look forward to attending the Study Support Group."
Cherisa, Volunteer.

"Study support is great. You go their and feel encouraged also you may have some worries about thing but you can go to a friend to help. There are many teachers who are very supportive and helpful."
Lewis, student Y6

"It is really fun and I have thousand of friends and we have a laugh but still do our work. We go on trips  and have parties at Christmas. We can do our homework here and it's helped me a lot! It starts 5.00pm and finishes at 7.00pm. We start eating at 4.15pm and go in class 5.00pm."
